Magha Pujo Day 2023

This year Ed, Annie and Da went to spend the day with the monks of Wat Tham See Nim. This is one of the two "Big Buddha" days of the year. The other being Vesak Day.

The monks received a feast on alms round so the meal was particularly tasty.

This time Ed was not isolated. He had one hut, Da had another and Annie, Nat and Pa slept in tents.

Today there was less solo meditating than past visits because of group efforts an the Wat. In the picture below the trellises for food are constructed of bamboo.

It was very relaxing for everyone. It will be a monthly event.
