Just make a right on Easy Street
We have reached our second destination, 154 miles southeast of Woburn and the eastern most point of the journey.

The road here was not a Shad Hole. In fact, it all went according to a plan. It wasn't our plan exactly, but close. There was a night with little sleep and other adventure twists and turns, but everything on the punch list got scratched off.

Thursday, the international movers took everything destined for Thailand. They left the big furniture like beds and couches. We enjoyed Louisa's Pizza on milk crates with a mason jar for my Mongoose glass.
Friday, Charlie showed me the manifold from hell that had him working until 8pm. He had the new manifold installed. He thought he would have it all ready for pickup at two.
It was snowing hard at 2pm so we didn't mind too much that it wasn't ready until four Then a new problem with the Registry of Motor Vehicles kept us there until five.
At 5:30 we were home and getting ready to pack up an unbelievably large number of boxes and bags that were in our garage. All of it had to fit in our new home. Spoiler alert, it's all in.

We turned in our apartment keys and headed south on Saturday morning. At 3am I was installing a luggage rack while working in a rain and snow mix. It was sooo nice to have sunshine and dry roads when we finally pulled away at 11:45am. The odometer read 69,000 miles exactly as we passed the apartment heading south on I-93.
Our first stop was Mansfield, to say goodbye to our friends and sailing buddies, Wes and Ashlyn. We were delighted to learn they are getting married in September.

Then it was on to Campers Haven on the south shore of the cape.

Piles everywhere to start.

Everyone is getting settled in.

The fact that everything is finding a home is thanks to Barbara's excellent spatial IQ. This is the contents of a full refrigerator freezer packed into the much smaller camper refer.
Yesterday we met Lucie's mom, who is visiting from France. The three of them (with David) were our first sit down guests in our new home.
We found Uli and Ursel at Logan Airport and drove the hour and a half down to the cape. It went very quickly given all the catching up conversations going on in the car..
After, champagne and presents at their room we headed home. Today we will go to the Kennedy center in Hyannis.

It's hard work living on Easy Street.

We have to make do with local foods ...

It is good to take the time to contemplate this wonderful opportunity to be a senior couple touring America in a vintage RV. Our movie is out this week in selected cities. No spoiler alert, we haven't seen it yet.
