Lafayette, the Lazarski Layover We enjoyed spring so much in Annapolis that we went back up north to try to experience it again. Mother nature was on board and as if on queue, after a winterish snowy Thursday and Friday, it turned into a beautiful spring weekend. Tim and Robin are gracious hosts and have built a warm and welcoming home in Lafayette. It was nice to spend time with them and getting reacquainted with Andrea, Tim's sister. She and Ed met once before, more than 30 years ago.

You wouldn't believe all that goes on in this front yard. Tim and Robin have a critter cam that captured everything from a Fisher to a Fox, as well as many other non f word critters.

The Dinosaur BBQ in downtown Syracuse had a long wait. The St.Louis style ribs were worth that wait. We also really liked the Lafayette Inn where we ate on Friday night. It's a good thing we went when we did. It's the only night of the week that they serve food.

Big thanks to Tim for helping us with the set up of the TV. I think our engineering was solid. The TV is still on the wall and it is still working.

Wurstchen and and his cousin Bob Barker got along well. They thought alike and it turns out Bob is half Doxie.

Our home at Niagara Branches campground on Grand Island. We are very close to Niagara Falls, which is about 6-miles to the north.

At Niagra Branches campground, you can camp in a tent, an RV, a nice cabin or ...

a Yurt.

We have the place pretty much to ourselves with the exception of a handful of campers.

We are located at Dachshund Fork.

Babs and Scout are enjoying a beautiful evening on the lake now. Chloe went for a walkabout but is safely home. She doesn't wander far but it makes us very, very nervous when she slips out for a walk.
